Monash shows Olympic spirit

Monash University is supporting our Olympic athletes.

And Monash Sport is getting in the spirit by holding free barbecues and campus walks, running promotions and offering free Live Sites from 8-24 August at all campuses to watch the Games.

Several Monash students, staff and graduates are lining up to compete in the Olympics including:

Fifth-year medical student David Zalcberg (table tennis)

Computing graduate Travis Brooks (hockey)

Science graduate Brenton Rickard (swimming)

Law student Catherine Arlove (judo)

Arts graduate Catriona Sens (rowing)

Doug Ellis Swimming Pool staff member Daniel Lee (Sri Lanka – swimming)

Monash Sport facilities will feature a daily countdown to the Olympics, with historical facts, highlights and associated Monash events.

Special offers are also available and vary at each campus.

For more details, see the Monash Sport Service Desk.
