Important Information

Payment Policy

  1. Learn to Swim lessons; $12.80 per lesson payable by the term.
  2. Squad sessions; Payments vary depending on frequency of training, please speak to reception for the squad pricing schedule for your level.
  3. Require $25 non-refundable deposit before term starts to confirm enrolment.
  4. Adult beginner and intermediate students are required to pay term fees upfront prior to their first scheduled lesson.
  5. Final Payment required by the 2nd week of term
  6. Enrolments will be cancelled if FULL payment has not been received by the 2nd week.
  7. No monetary credit or make ups are carried over to the following term.
  8. Students who make full payment of the upcoming term fees before the end of the current term will receive a free Monash Sport gift.
  9. A discount is available on lessons for families with 3 or more children enrolled, pension card holders, Monash University staff and students*. Please note that only one discount is available per student. Please advise reception of entitlements upon enrolment.


Make-up Policy

  1. There are no refunds or cash credits for any missed lessons.
  2. If you are unable to attend a lesson you must notify the Aquatics Service Desk on 9905 4115 at least 24hrs in advance.
  3. Failure to notify reception of absence will result in no make up being credited.
  4. Only 2 make up lessons provided per term – must be used in the current term.
  5. At the completion of each term, all make up credits will be removed.
  6. The only time extra make up credits will be given is with the presentation of a medical certificate with dates specified to the Swim School Team Leader.


Cancellation Policy

  1. There are no refunds or cash credits for any missed lessons.
  2. Enrolments cancelled after week 2 will not receive any cash refunds.


Accompanying Swimmers During Lessons

  1. To alleviate the confusion over payment for "extra" swimmers at the time of lessons, please note that there is no extra charge for an extra spectator (whether child or adult).
  2. For Adult classes, all accompanying swimmers (adult or child) must be paid for.
  3. For children's classes, two parents are allowed to swim at no cost. Any extra adults must be paid for. All accompanying children who wish to swim must be paid for (4 years and older).

 

* Proof of entitlement must be displayed at time of payment.
