2009 University Pathways CupThursday 18 JuneOn Saturday 13 June, Monash University hosted over 200 students at its Clayton sports facilities, for the third Annual University Pathways Cup. The 2009 University Pathways Cup soccer tournament featured teams from La Trobe University, Swinburne College, Monash College, Taylors College, RMIT College, Holmesglen, Gurkhas Institute and MIBT. The competition played out in a round robin format, followed by semi-finals and a championship game. Teams were made up from both male and female students. For the record Swinburne College won the tournament, with RMIT proving to be a tough competitor in the final. This unique event supported by Monash University brought together students enrolled in pathway programs throughout Melbourne. Director of Sport at Monash University, Martin Doulton presented Swinburne College with their medals and commemorative trophy.
