Hume City 53 defeated Monash University Central 42

Unfortunately Round 3 saw Monash Uni Central defeated by Hume City, last year’s premiers.

After a fast paced and accurate first quarter, Monash took a small lead into the change.

A few passing errors in the second quarter saw the half time score turn in Hume's favour 26-19. Hume City's centre court press continued to be effective in the third despite interchanges in attack and defence (42-39).

Monash finished well in the fourth quarter, raining in a few goals for final score 53-42.

In Division 1, Ballarat Pride was too strong for Monash 63-49 while in Division 2, Goulburn beat Monash 43-39.
