Quarter scores 10-9, 20-20, 40-31, 51-38.

It was a tightly-fought first quarter with neither team quite finding their stride. Strong defence from both ends forced repeated errors. Monash began to settle towards the end of the quarter and took a one goal lead into the second.

Georgie and Sharni (Vixens squad member) had hands on everything to give Monash a 3 goal lead midway through the second. A few transition errors brought the game back to level at half-time.

Half time interchanges Karyn (GS), Jess (WA) and Lee (GD) brought a good change in tempo to the game. Jess had an excellent quarter in attack and took four defensive intercepts.

More changes at three-quarter time only added to Monash Uni Central's lead. Karyn performed strongly and accurately and was well supported by attacking team mates.
