Monday 7 September

Monash Sport staff have shown their generosity by helping to raise funds for the Fight Cancer Foundation by showing their support for their favourite footy team.

Footy Colours Day is one of the Fight Cancer Foundation’s national fundraising initiatives providing support and helping to change the lives of children and young people living with cancer.

Staff members who participated in Footy Colours Day donated gold coins to the Fight Cancer Foundation and sporting the colours of their footy favourites.

Ariane Tebb who was supporting Carlton said the day achieved many things.  “The day was not just about supporting the Fight Cancer Foundation, it was also about letting staff interact differently with each other and have a larger involvement in the community” Ariane said.

All money raised will go toward funding the Fight Cancer Foundation programs such as the Back on Track" program which helps children with cancer continue school through their treatment.
