What are the Monash Games?

The Monash Games is an opportunity for staff and students across all Victorian campuses of the university to play modified sports in a fun and friendly environment over two days.

The second running of the Monash Games (previously Metro Games) offers a number of different sports and activities with an emphasis on getting involved and ‘having a go’. All skill levels are encouraged to take part from beginners to those that are advanced.

Monash Games is a great chance to represent your campus, meet new people and become involved in university life. If you are interested in participating, you can register at your home campus.

When? Where?

The Monash Games will be held from 10am to 4pm on Thursday 10 and 10am to 2pm Friday 11 July at Monash Sport Clayton (Building 1, Monash University Clayton campus).

Timetable

Cost

$10 per player

Cost includes transport to and from other campuses, lunch on Thursday and Friday as well as participation in Monash Games.  Monash Games is a chance for students to participate in a range of activities, have fun and meet new people.

How to register

Registration forms can be downloaded below. Entries Close Friday 4 July. Please submit registration forms and fees to the Monash Sport Service Desk or your campus contact.

Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to assist in ensuring that the Monash Games run smoothly and that participants achieve their personal goals. Volunteering is a great way of making new friends, getting involved and having lots of fun. Volunteer roles include; administration, setting up and coordinating sports.
