TeamMONASH™ Support Crew

Event Support Crew

The TeamMONASH™ Support Crew is a group of volunteers who assist in ensuring that our events run smoothly. It is a great way of getting involved, developing skills, making new friends and having lots of fun.

Volunteer roles include; setting up event marquees, running the cloakroom, coordinating massage schedules, handling event enquiries and being a member of the TeamMONASH™ cheer squad.

In recognition of their efforts, all volunteers receive a certificate and an official Support Crew t-shirt.

Upcoming Events: Mother's Day Classic, Emer Casey, and Monash Games.

Applications for Support Crew for 2011 Mother's Day Classic will open on Monday 14th March on the Monash University Volunteer Gateway. Applications for the remainder of the events will open two months prior to the event.

Administration Support Crew

We also offer University students a chance to develop their event administration skills by working in the Community Fitness Events office.

By assisting in the planning and organisation of events, students will gain valuable skills in team work, administration, communication, project management and leadership.

Projects will be allocated to students based on their current studies, skills they are interested in developing and tasks that need to be undertaken to successfully complete projects.

We encourage our Support Crew to assist by volunteering for half or full day shifts. These shifts can be organised around University timetables and part time job commitments.

The application for TeamMONASH™ administration support crew is open until Sunday 6 March on the volunteer gateway.
